PLATES

Unwashed plates

At the kitchen-sink

Ask for a wet rest

He just inks

Four fingers for nothing

Lets the pile grow

Like a red ceramic rose

An imaginary finished family dinner

Is occasionally performed

Day by day

The one clean finger

Plays with left ginger

From the time he remembers himself

He sinks into this nostalgic scenery

Of affection

And murky musk

Lost innocence and plates

Are washed together later

Warm running water

Comes as inevitable proof

At the final date of plate submissions

It’s time family

Were vanished in water

In the shivers under the open tap

Whilst he is getting wet

In assumptions

Objects

Regain their functionality

In the house

Living lonely
